At Filigreen Farm, we grow over 35 apple cultivars, including California heirlooms like Sierra Beauty, Wickson, and Gravenstein. Over time, we’ve honed in on the varieties that taste best when dried. They are deeply flavorful, naturally sweet, and have just the right balance of chew and crunch. Each batch is dried with care to preserve the full character of the fruit. Anderson Valley was once a hub for dried apples and pears, with an industry that took root in the late 1800s when fruit had to travel far without spoiling. We’re proud to carry on that tradition in our own small way, with apples grown and dried right here on the farm.
